There was no trick-or-treating in our apartment building last night. We had to adopt a hood for the eve - which wasn't too hard b/c we've been scoping for potentials once we buy. So we ended up in a subdivision near where Cole plays baseball...nice houses semi-close together...perfect for the occasion. At the first
house on the block, no one was home...
We then passed some folks coming back from a street party and knew that trick-or-treating had commenced. We started for the next house and all was good in the hood.
At one doorway, the lady asked if we lived in the neighborhood. Uh, no. She claimed to be new and didn't know very many people, which is why she asked. Well...odd given she was the one hosting the party earlier. Happy Halloween witch...we didn't want your Snickers anyway. Guess we know where we won't be living!
